So this mission run by Rob did not have a Operation or Code Name assigned to it. Agents assigned to see if silver is there and investigate what is going on at site. Interesting things include a motorized plane, a crapload of dogs, bunch of bears, boot eating quick sand, sleep gas, and triplets. Topping it all off was one of the worst strings of bad luck that Agent Delta has had in a long time.

Missions were to rescue three E.R.I.N. investigators & find out what was going on at the camp. The agents were under a time crunch to rescue the investigators due to impending storm that became Cyclone Sidr.

Finally, a pure assassination mission!!  Agents travel to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  A little Lady In Distress (those that have played that Mission know what I’m talking about!) occurs and the agents have to divert to Cumberland, MD to assassinate someone.  Awesome newspaper wrap-up provided too (if I do say so myself)!

Injuries: All agents sustained some points due to grenade damage

Viva Mexico!! The agents have to go to Mexico City, Mexico. Then right before the mission begins while meeting in the safe house, an attack occurs where someone tries to assassinate a Mexican General. With the General laying on the floor from an explosion and a near point-blank gunshot, the agents are requested by the General to give him safe passage to a waiting helicopter.

Agents travel to Richmond, Virginia. I get to use an old locking briefcase that I found in my attic from about 25-30 years ago from my previous job! E.R.I.N. wants the agents to track down a rogue employee. The employee appeared to be planning a terrorist-type attack on an unknown target. Target ended up being a critical electric substation on the East coast. I got to use a Google Earth satellite map of an actual electrical substation that is located near where most of us live. Don’t know how critical it is but the aerial view of it was awesome! Going into this mission was when I had purchased Gygax #4. In reading through that new TS mission in Gygax #4, I re-discovered the fun of introducing “rumors” into gameplay.

One of the rare times recently we were able to get a large gathering together. Six agents plus the Admin! Agents traveled to Houston, Texas to protect a scientist at a location called The Woodlands Resort. An assassin was introduced to the PC’s that had the ‘kiss of death’. Unfortunately, the agents failed in their protection mission. Also of note, an NPC, Dr. Olson was introduced during this mission too (more on her in Operation Piscina Grande-December 2010).

Travel to Lexington, Kentucky to protect a potential future rising politician from California.  He is attending the event with his longtime girlfriend.  The event is the annual reunion of the CV-5 club, which is survivors and family members of the USS Yorktown.

Injuries: J.C. mild injury from tear gas

Agents met in Sydney, Australia about a week before mission to do some reconnaissance work. This mission was a result of the failure during Operation Piscina Grande in December 2010.  E.R.I.N. computer operators began seeing some sensitive information on the Dark Web that was tied to the data stolen and not recovered during Operation Piscina Grande.  The US Department of Justice got involved and working with E.R.I.N. sent the agents in to a data center where they were to inject code on a USB drive into a target system to backtrack where the stolen data was being stored. The agency also got tipped off that there was a potential threat to the server center as well. Agents were able to perform the mission successfully. Agents confronted a good looking woman with a huge necklace (seriously; no euphemism) and got tear gassed for their effort. Agent B.C. took the role of a wealthy, eccentric and handicapped entrepreneur.

Injuries: Caspian sustained multiple bullet wounds (and a few pokes in the chest) 

Agents met in Zurich, Switzerland. Per mission briefing direction, the teams had to select which one of 3 locations they would be traveling to (via helicopter) simultaneously to perform the missions. They had to go to: the Magdeburg water bridge in Magdeburg, Germany; NEMO 33 indoor swimming & dive pool (deepest in the world in 2011) in Brussels, Belgium; and the Millau Viaduct bridge (highest in the world in 2011) in Millau, France.  Their missions were to use a beacon watch that would locate an encrypted USB somewhere on the grounds of the locations they were going to. They had clues to find the beacon watch and then they had to locate the USB as well as disable any explosives they found. The teams had to split up with no more than 2 agents at each location.  Nighthawk and BC went to NEMO 33, Rocketman and JC went to Magdeburg, and Caspian and Wraith went to Millau.  The mission summary goes over what happened at each location.  Agents were successful in their missions at each location.
