Manuel Escobar, Harwitch, and a woman known as Imile Drayonovich escaped from holding in an E.R.I.N. facility, and fled to Lean Le Clerc’s house. The house was assaulted [do you know what I mean by ASSAULTED?] and Escobar was killed. His Plate (#2) was mounted [do you know what I mean by MOUNTED?] on a Luger identical that of Plate #1. Another groupusing British Landrovers SCUBAed in and tried to get the papers first. No one knows who they were or what they wanted. Held in one of three places: ranch in California, lens makers in Switzerland, diamond mine in Ghana. Mission to recover Dr. Standish, either by force, deception, or ransom. Highlander met with Danielle Hughes’ look-alike secretary, Steven Harwitch, and Sean McVie, who had the Sword with five Plates in it. Also appearing were members of the Cat’s Claw, an Oriental assassin’s group, apparently there to back up the Knights. In addition, a group of Arabs, who were probably with the Gem Lords, shot it out with the Knights. Standish was recovered and nothing was given up. Center for Cultural Development, Spokane, Washington.  Mission to recover special weapons captured from Longshot, Reaper, and Speed on a previous mission [which we won’t talk
about]. These included the twin silver-plated Lugers with Plates #1 & 2. Of course, everybody and their uncle went for it. Representing the Gem Lords, some thugs under Emerald
managed to get away with one of the Lugers (we don’t know which one). Of the Knights, Hernandez was captured by agents, questioned and killed. He had a Plate (#3) mounted in a
Thompson Contender, which was taken by Highlander.

Notes: Pearl’s Place.  Notes listed below for this mission can be found in the document “Plot II – The Wrath of Sean”.

Balbeck Jamahl’s house, Qatar. Mission to recover one piece of Home (#2). Balbeck turned out to be Pearl, and was killed before he could sever something of Longshot’s more vital than
his Uzi. Symbol of Power was taken by Highlander. Also found two identification pearls on Jamahl’s two right-hand men, an Israeli with 51/113, and a Black man with 41/112.
Along with Home piece, another Oiled Parchment (#2) was found. Piece in Highlander’s possession, and Parchment in Longshot’s.

Ruby Shipping yards, Tirana, Albania. Mission to recover book Voyages to Oblivion by Istal Farok, which reputedly has a map of Shaemon’s voyage. It was sold to Kalter (thought to
be Ruby), and was in transit to Tunisia when we all thought it would be a good idea to steal it. Ruby’s henchman el Bacti was present, and killed. Special Guest Swordsman was none other
than McVie himself, accompanied by several of Parnell’s men. Some of the Fires showed [hereafter referred individually as “Flickers”] and had in their possession the Ruby symbol of
power and a sword book thought to have been lost at Alexandria. The first was taken by Longshot, and the second is floating. Voyages was returned to the original owner, Bhutan.

On my character sheet for this mission, I have a note that this was an attempt at the record kill amount.  The mission briefing has a typo in the year of the mission.  It was 1992, not 1991.  Actually, the “real” time of the mission was in 1991.

Mental Asylum, Denmark.  Mission to abduct Pitor Crispo, one of the inmates, and reputedly the only man alive who knows what the map of Shaemon looked like.  Asylum ran by Flickers, who had bows with special exploding and incendiary arrows.  Killed the Fire of Roelant.  Recovered target.
